BEOWULF
He lived a very heroic life, his life was far from normal. He was an inspiring man, a man you could look up to and hope to be like. Because of his bravery he will forever be remember as the greatest and most noble. His death was very sad indeed, on his death bed lay our "famous king bloody, gasping for air". Tragic as it was he went out with a great fight and defeated a dragon that not even the bavest of warriors would be so bold to challenge, and he did it for his people. Our brave king had "a life as noble as his name". He will neve be forgoten.
GRENDEL
I cant say that Grendels death was a tragedy, i think i speak for us all when i say that it is a reward that this beast has been put out. He has caused so much harm, and now his evil reign is over once and for all. His crys of pain were music to our ears, as "he twisted in pain and the bleeding sinews deep in his shoulder snapped, muscle and bone split and broke". No one felt sympathy for this monsters suffering. His death "ended the grief, the sorrow, the suffering", and for that we will always be greatful to our noble king Beowulf.
